We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer! It’s hard to believe how quickly the year is flying by — before we know it, we’ll be thinking about Halloween, Christmas and all the exciting things that come with the changing seasons!

We’ve been incredibly busy over the summer, growing and harvesting flowers for our beautiful dried flower boxes, wedding flower boxes and lots of other floral creations. 🌸🌿

🚜 It’s Been Quite a Harvest! 🚜

What a summer it has been here at Shining Bright! With the heat and sunshine, it certainly hasn’t been without its challenges.

The hot, dry weather has meant our confetti petals have been ready for harvesting much quicker than usual, keeping us very busy! We’ve also seen some varieties of dried flowers absolutely thrive in the sunshine, while others have found the extreme conditions a little more challenging.

As a result, some of this year’s flowers may be slightly shorter than in previous seasons, but we’re incredibly proud of the beautiful harvest we’ve managed to grow, gather and prepare.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the flowers we’ve carefully nurtured throughout the year transformed into beautiful dried flowers ready to be enjoyed in your creative projects, arrangements, weddings and crafts. 

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support our little business and our homegrown flowers. It really does mean the world to us!

Our Craft & Connect Workshops are a relaxed and friendly way for small business owners to take a little time away from the day-to-day running of their business, get creative and connect with other like-minded people.

Each workshop combines a fun seasonal craft activity with the opportunity to chat, share ideas, make new connections and support one another. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or simply fancy trying something new, everyone is welcome.

We especially want to create a welcoming environment where business owners can network without the pressure and overwhelm that traditional networking can sometimes bring.

Our workshops are run alongside our Beyond Limits Business Group, a supportive community for business owners who may face additional challenges when running their business.
